Alhamdulillah, masih di beri peluang bernafas di bumi Allah ini dan masih di beri nikmat utk berfikir dan menaip entry :D
Just came back from work and still have the energy to jot few words..huhu.. bersemangat btul.. well,nak cite ape ye kali ni..
Lets refresh back on how we met again and will share few tips that we hold on till now..
Along and Abang were two high school friends. They were just friend and each of them have own partner. When Along went to boarding school, they lost contact but "Friendster" reconnect them again. Began with usual normal friend chat, exhanged stories and problems. Then,both are engaged to their fiance..hurmm..to cut it short,it didnt last long for both of them. They met again in 'Facebook'. Still exchanging stories about heartbreak, gave support to each other etc. Along still cant forget about her fiance,while Abang was trying on his new relationship..hurrmm..dunno what happen..miracles happen,things changed when Along's mom went to Mekah. Before she went to Mekah,Along asked her mother to pray for her strength and 'jodoh' ,while at that point of time Abang contacting Along's mom.hmmm..Things changed..
1-2weeks before Along went back to Malaysia for her sister's wedding, she got a proposal from Abang. Guess what?! He contacted Along's parents and asked for Along's hand and plan for a surprise proposal. But adviced given by Abang's sister and friend not to do a 'heart-attack surprise'.mana la tahu lamaran di tolak ke..huhu..and guess what did Along do?
" Jika datang (melamar) kepadamu orang yg engkau senangi agama & akhlaknya, maka nikahkanlah ia (dgn puterimu).Jika kamu tidak menerima (lamaran) nye nescaya terjadi malapetaka di bumi dan kerosakan yg luas"

She asked for a time for solat istikarah, seek for His guidance as she had bad experience before. So far, alhamdulillah..they got engaged 2 days after Along's sister solemnization. It went smoothly. The efforts that Abang made to make it happened touch Along's heart.Bayangkan setelah berapa tahun tak berjumpa,hanye on the net..
MONDAY- touch down in Msia airport
TUESDAY- Abang came to house,met mother,went out to buy engagement ring,and have dinner together with family where Abang asked for my hand from father
WEDNESDAY- Searching for baju tunang and went to meet Abang's parents (for the first time!berdebarrr..)
THURSDAY-Busy helping sisters wedding preparation. Abang came all the way and give roses.
FRIDAY- Sis wed
SATURDAY-engagement preparation
SUNDAY- ENGAGEMENT DAY!=)
Alhamdulillah di permudahkan. I was praying hard, 'If this is my jodoh, permudahkan lah' =)
Both of us have past experience and that make us wiser in this new relationship, although we are far apart.
Few tips that we can share for long distance relationship are:
1) Pray hard and seek help from Him agar di permudahkan urusan dan di beri kesabaran & kekuatan.
2) Trust each other. If you dont start to trust each other, how are you going to make a family?
3) Good communication. DO NOT ASSUME! Our favorite tools in helping out with our communication are Whatsapp (easy,quick,can send pic, no prepaid require only need internet line,have emoticons), email (for in depth discussion or planning), skype (if need discussion on serious matter).
4) Everyone is not perfect. Dont expect much from your partner. Accept of what they are. If they have weaknesses, we need to strengthen it up. If they have special capabilities,maximise/ optimise the strength.
5) Make a plan together especially towards the wedding day. Plan the preparation, financial, barang2 hantaran etc
6) Keep in touch with bakal family as they will be your own family in future.

I pray that we will pass this 'darah manis period' @ alam pertunangan with patience and will end up with marriage, and eventually will holding hands entering the paradise, amin =)
